NoDQ.com TNA Anderson talks about his a-hole promos & PG WWE
The following are highlights of a recent interview with Mr. Anderson from the Busted Open radio show:

"Mr. Anderson on WWE PG rating: "I don't know how you have guys beating each other up and half-naked womenrunning around and make it a PG... To me it doesn't make sense. I understand they have investors and things like that to answer to, which kind of sucks in a way. I think when that company went public, that was the start of the sinking ship, that was the little hole in the side of the ship."

Mr. Anderson on his WWE release: "When I left and I started talking to different people who had been there a while who had left like Booker (T) and people like that, Iremember telling Booker that story. He said, 'Ah, they got you with the old being stiff routine, huh?' This has been used for years and years and years. If you don't want somebody to be there anymore, you start complaining that they're too stiff or they're prone to injuring others and stuff like that, and eventually the person gets pushed out the door."

Mr. Anderson on his "asshole" promos: "I started saying 'nice guys finish last, thank God I'm an asshole' in OVW. I actually started saying it on independents right before I got to OVW. I said it during promos at OVW, and the boys popped for it and they liked it. It's a good test, if the guys like it, the fans are usually going to like it. They are more critical, they've seen everything, and heard everything. When I got brought up on the road, I asked Vince (McMahon) in our first sitdown meeting... I asked him if I could say that. He said no, you can't say asshole.

"We started trying to figure out ways we could work it in. Johnny Ace came up and said, (impersonating John Laurinaitis) 'Hey, uh, your name could be like Adam and your last name could be hole and you could be like thank God I'm an a-hole.' Vince looked at him like, 'Are you kidding me?' I went to Johnny, I like that idea, but I think that's an idea for someone who is going to be here for a month or two. It's pretty gimmicky and I plan on being here for a long time. Vince looked at me, 'Yeah, that's the right answer.'"

Mr. Anderson on Kurt Angle: "Kurt Angle is a guy who... You know how much he's done in this business, what he's done and where he's been, how much he's done for this business. He's in a position right now where he doesn't really have to give anything back if he doesn't want to, but that guy puts 110 percent in every single day that he comes to work. All of his matches, he wants them to be the best matches on the show."

NoDQ.com WWE Paul Bearer comments on his return to WWE

NoDQ.com WWE Paul Bearer comments on his return to WWE
"- Percy “Paul Bearer” Pringle has wrote a new blog on his website regarding his return to WWE on last night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Here’s part of what he wrote:

Where do I begin my friends? I guess we should go with the “Reader’s Digest” version, since those of you that visit here often know I can ramble on and on. Let’s just cut to the chase. About four months ago I recieved a call from the WWE creative folks asking if I had any interest in returning to the company. Of course this totally caught me off guard.

Just to step back for a moment, many are aware that my wife passed away from three battles with cancer, on January 31, 2009; and my life took some major turns following that tragic life changing event. We were married 30-years.

Since my departure from WWE at the GREAT AMERICAN BASH on June 24, 2004, I had virtually divorced myself from professional wrestling completely and returned fulltime to Funeral Service, which some may not realize that I have a degree in Mortuary Science and I am a legit licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. I managed a small Funeral Home and Crematory here on the Gulf Coast.
In the early Spring of 2010, I decided to test the pro wrestling waters again, and began doing some independent events, autograph signings, etc., around the country to see if the passion was still there for me. Of course it was, and it will always will be. I discovered that doing these events took me away from the loneliness I was experiencing without my wife, Dianna. I was actually having fun again; and these days if it’s not fun, you can leave me out of it.

During the six-years I had been away from WWE it would be a major understatement to say that many things had changed since I signed my first contract there on December 22, 1990. We started negotiations for my return. I still had many doubts if this was what I really wanted to do. Through much prayer, and conversations with my immediate family and close friends, I decided that if all the pieces of the puzzle fell into place, that this was meant to be.
I had to fly to Pittsburgh, PA and go through major physical and mental examinations; which to my dismay, all the results came back positive. My final question to myself was… “What would my late wife Dianna want me to do?”. That answer was the easiest of all… she would say, “Get your ass back on the road!”. So….

…here I am. My contract actually became effective on August 1st, and sworn to secrecy, it was extremely hard to keep so many of my contacts from knowing what the future was going to hold in store for me.
Many have asked for the details of my contract, such as it’s length, even monetary details, and the like. Sorry you won’t get that confidential information from me. I will say that a clause in my contract allows for me to continue working independent events, if I desire, and as long as they don’t interfere with my WWE commitments. The bottomline is that I consider myself very lucky, at the tender age of 56, to get another chance at the top of our game. I am truly blessed.

My SMACKDOWN re-debut to the company was set to be taped this past Tuesday evening, in Bloomington, IL. Getting there, staying at a discreet hotel, sneeking into the venue, and hiding out in the dressing area until my time in the event came, is a story onto itself. Most of the wrestlers on the card that night didn’t even know I was there.

A new era has begun in my life. And I have you the fans who made the Percy Pringle / Paul Bearer characters to thank. Notwithstanding, those within WORLD WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT who continue to have confidence in my old school abilities. It doesn’t matter if it lasts a week, a month, or five more years. I
t’s all good.

As always, I do my best to remain accessable to you folks; and I do read and answer all of my email on a timely basis. Unfortunately, you may not get the answers from me that that you may desire. I just tell it like it is with no apologies."

NoDQ.com WWE Former WWE star Giant Gonzalez dies

NoDQ.com WWE Former WWE star Giant Gonzalez dies
"Former WWE performer Jorge González (a/k/a Giant González) passed away Wednesday in San Martin, Argentina, reports Argentinian news outlet Impulso Baires. He was 44 years old.

Sources from González's hometown, El Colorado, confirm that he was taken to San Martin after "suffering a decompensation."

González had been suffering from poor health for years as he was confined to a wheelchair and used a dialysismachine to treat kidney failure. It was announced last year that González would return to the United States in May 2010 for an appearance at the "Legends of the Ring: wrestling convention in Monroe, New Jersey. Ultimately, he was forced to cancel the appearance due to ongoing health problems.

Originally a basketball player, González was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks in the third round of the 1988 NBA Draft. When his NBA career didn't pan out, Hawks owner Ted Turner offered González a job as a professional wrestler with another of his ventures, World Championship Wrestling. After a year of training, González wasintroduced to fans as "El Gigante" on May 19, 1990 at the WCW pay-per-view, Capital Combat. He enjoyed a lengthy run as a fan favorite before parting ways with the organization in 1992.

González's jumped ship to the World Wrestling Federation the very same year and debuted as "Giant González" at the 1993 Royal Rumble, where he eliminated The Undertaker from the Rumble match despite not being an official participant. The move laid the foundation for a rivalry that lasted the length of Gonzalez's WWE career as he parted ways with the organization shortly after being put to rest at the hands of "The Deadman" at the 1993 SummerSlam.

González wrestled in New Japan Pro Wrestling before retiring in 1995 due to ongoing health problems. His last match took place on February 8, 1995 against The Great Muta.

González is the fourth former WWE talent to pass away within the past seven weeks, following Lance Cade, Luna Vachon and Mike Shaw (a/k/a Bastion Booge"
